Ethics Policy

The ethical rules behind Crypto Recovers: rightful owners only, no stolen funds, no false promises, no misleading marketing.

This policy describes the boundaries within which Crypto Recovers works: who we accept as clients, what we will and will not do, and how we treat the sensitive material a case involves. It is the same for every case, in every language.

Rightful owners only

Identity, ownership and legal authority are verified before any case is accepted, using risk-based KYC/AML checks. We work for the owners of wallets, for heirs and executors, and for authorized representatives — and for no one else. The verification steps are described in our security and data handling policy.

What we do not work on

  • Stolen or scammed funds: we do not freeze or recover coins taken by theft or fraud, and we cannot reverse blockchain transactions.
  • Cases the cryptography does not allow: a completely lost password with no file or backup, a recovery phrase with too many unknown words. We say when something is not possible instead of taking a case we cannot finish.
  • Any request where ownership cannot be verified.

Honest promises

We never promise a guaranteed recovery, and we never market one. The assessment is free; the fee is a success fee agreed in writing before work starts and is only due when access is actually restored. Anyone promising guaranteed recovery is describing something no legitimate service can do.

Non-custodial handling

We restore access; we never hold, move or manage your funds. You open the wallet and move the coins yourself. Sensitive material is handled as described on our security and data handling page, and nothing is ever shared without permission.

Data protection

We collect only what a case needs, process it under our privacy policy, and delete it after the case according to the retention periods that policy describes. We never sell personal data.

Fair process

Every case follows the same written process: free assessment, written agreement, verification, controlled technical work, and a client-controlled handover. Scope, security and the fee are agreed in writing before work begins — that agreement is the rule we hold ourselves to.
